Teahen has a .700 OPS and is batting 3rd for the Royals
Why oh why didn't they trade him after the '06 season?

Anyone know anything about the Jeter-Cano confrontation that happened today?
How did Jeter manage to communicate with him? Hearing is difficult with Head Up Ass, No?

With Teahen up it probably wouldn't have mattered.what a stupid cunt! out by a MILE! coulda been setup 1st & 3rd 1 out...
Considering how awful his defense is, he might be one of the worst every day players in baseball.

As they should be, that was pathetic. That team looks lifeless and dull
What will happen next year with next year's ticket prices. The home team is likely to attract paying customers who feel something is owed them in return???

less "real fans", more corporate/yankee version of the pinkies, but you probably won't notice much difference tbh
edit: this season's performance will have no bearing on that place selling out if that's what you're asking

I was thinking that "less real fans" were more likely to boo and show impatience. Michael Kay just told me that real fans understand how Cano is playing with a hurt hand and as a result his performance is suffering. He must be one real tough player who just hit into a DP

i consider the yankee fans on this board "real fans" and i haven't heard a peep from them (wingack, jon abbey, nycdoc) about a hurt hand, so maybe kay is making excuses? either way cano stinks right now and is killing that lineup
and sure, you'll hear boos, but you'll also hear more oooo's and ahhh's on a routine flyout to CF by the fans thinking that the ball was hit a mile (not limited to yankee fans obv)

That's funny the guy was 0-8 with the bases loaded. This time - Double. Excellent!
Pettitte's pitch to Teahan was high in the strike zone. Let's see what Gordon can do

Pettitte's up to 90 pitches though. That's something.

Should have been more. Christ.
The curveballs, 2nd thrown strike and last two pitches of the at-bat, were outstanding pitches from Andy. Pettitte made no mistakes to Gordan
