Breslow would be better served doing stem-cell research than throwing a baseball.

Except that he threw 10 pitches to get a 1-2-3 7th inning. To what do you attribute that, dumb luck?

can someone please describe the Cano/Melky play. TIA

Cano goes back. Melky runs in. Ball falls between them. They could be just mailing it in. Another player on another team would have tried harder, showed more effort, communicated and made an out.

I'm not one of these idiots who wants to see the Twins lose just because they are closer in the standings. 2005 and 2007 have taught me a valuable lesson.

A Sexson homerun, followed by a shot of the Wild Card standings, followed by Kay talking about how Yankees need this game.

Not that I disagree with your reaction here, as Sexon has crushed left handed pitching this year, but it worked out.

UPDATE, 3:28 p.m.: That’s a new one. Usually Melky and Robbie play poorly individually. They teamed up there.

Strike three on checked swing, ball skipped under mauers glove to backstop, Dogface after 5 seconds realizes he can run to first, and gets there safely run score, hilarity ensues
