This is for the right to be the opening day thread starter for the 2008 Patriots* Season. September 7th, versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

You will have all the rights of a thread starter. This is the only game thread, if they win you start the following week, etc. etc.

If I win I do promise that I will make Gregg Easterbrook seem like Greg Janian.

*For those of you who are unaware, there is an NFL (American Football) team that plays in the Boston area. They are known as "The Patriots" and they play in a town called "Foxborough." They play in a real staium with real uniforms, the whole deal. In fact, you know those football jerseys you own with that guy "Brady"'s name on the back? That is TOM Brady, who plays Quarterback for the Patriots! And all this time you thought it was a member of the Bunch! You're welcome.

Seriously now I'm just trying to have a little fun. And yes I probably belong in the Ramen thread because I make an hourly wage that doesn't allow me to spend money freely and I need to save for other endeavors. I've donated money to the cause but everything is above my head so I haven't bid on anything. I guess I can't make a funny unless I have money. I will now retreat to the depths of my cave never to be seen again until I one day cash in on something.

You know what? FUCK ramen noodles. I hear ramen noodles make Donovan McNabb sick. At any rate, I didn't go to offshore medical school for 7 years just to let Eagles fans run roughshod over everyone. Combine that with the fact that I'll be at this game... I can't let this challenge go unanswered.
