Yes, I'm well aware. It was me who pitched the idea to Skrub. However I would be willing to bid a significantly more amount of money for a lifetime membership as opposed to a 1 year membership.

Interesting. When we mention "lifetime" this only refers to subscription status, lifetime members are subject to the rules like everyone else.

As for the other auction, at the end of the probationary year, unless you really piss someone off you'll be a full-fledged member.

There are some other differences (Larger Mailbox for PMs, ability to start a blog here)... but, for the most part... there is little difference between a lifetime and a Supporter other than status.

Heh, I like that name. Titi's. It makes me smile, and with Manny gone there will be less smiles (not a commentary on the trade, I like the trade, but I'll miss Manny).

I'll change it, though. Titi isn't a respectable name for a Lifetime Member.

edit: I just heard from the Committee, and one matching bid will be accepted for a 2nd Lifetime Membership. 1st person to respond gets it.

And I still like the name Titi. I may get drunk tonight and randomly change some members' names to Titi. Heep would make a good Titi, I think.
