Sox win today, then win again, then a few more after that. That would be good.

My week and a half of no wife or daughter at home comes to an end tonight. No more strip club visits or drunken text messages to and from 20 year olds. So that means I'm back to the Sox for entertainment value.
Whatever works, man.

David Ortiz is not in the lineup tonight, after bruising his right knee making a head-first slide into first base on the rally-killing 1-6-3 double play in the 11th inning Friday night, a slide manager Terry Francona refered to as a "car accident." Ortiz, who had surgery on the knee in the offseason, winced as he tried to sit at his locker Friday night after the game. The injury is not considered serious, but he gets tonight off, with J.D. Drew the DH.

If Ortiz is scratched, why isn't Manny at DH? Is Drew slowed by an injury?
Yeah. Why?

3rd most, also 3rd most runs and #1 in baserunners. GDP are like RBI - a product of opportunity.this team needs to stop hitting into double plays.

Coco's been competing for the CF job pretty well, but one category where Ellsbury destroys him is baserunning.
