Can't find a direct link, but I think her old man is the Fresno State Golf coach.

His other children are Kelly, Heidi and Dustin.

This link within Boston Sports Media Watch indicates that she's a cousin of is a golfer Nick Watney and he attended Fresno State. She did a lot of Fresno State coverage/events before she was canned, for reasons undisclosed, from a local FOX affiliate, KMPH.

Check out the youtube link posted, the pic does not do her justice at all. Generally sporty blonds ain't my thing, but hell, she's got some serious charm. Bet she looks great in a little black dress. A step up from Tina no doubt. Good find NESN! I imagine the single boys on the club will be punchin' some clock, so to speak.

We've been discussing at work for the past month what we thought NESN would do once Tina Cervasio left. We came to the conclusion very quickly that NESN definitely wouldn't send a man, or a woman of inferior quality to Tina (whom we enjoyed oggling for the last two years) to cover the Sox. Happily, we were right. Tina was attractive, and Ms. Watney blows her away. If we're lucky, she might know something about baseball, too.

Kudos, NESN, for topping yourself. And thanks for keeping the desperate, middle-aged, deprived men of RSN in your thoughts.
