foulkehampshire, I suppose you may be right. This could be a game for Lester to build from. He's quietly putting together a pretty good outing. Even without first pitch strikes....

Sweet K of Hanahan!!

Time for NutraSystem Advanced. I don't want him going the way of Kirby. :buddy:

Lowell struck in the ribs there. That's gonna leave a mark.

I just got in and am listening to the radio feed. Anyone know who the second broadcaster is? Doesn't sounds like Dale or O'Brian and the guy sounds awful!

Replying to my own post. Gordon someone? Who the hell is this guy where is Dale?

Shitty.

The other thing about the A's announcers are they never admit when a play is close. To whit: the play at the plate last night (I forgot who it was) where the runner got in just under the tag. The guy goes, "Oh, he was out by a mile." Assholes. All right, I'm going to MLB radio.

Edit: nice BB, Tek.

It's now a full out man-crush for Alex Cora... and i hate everyone else today. What is that like the 3rd time today we've had the bases loaded and no runs to speak of?

Please do not waste this game guys

Anybody watching this, does it seem like Lester's really in command (sic) or is it that the A's bats really suck?

Edit: I'll answer my own question. On 87 pitches, 47 strikes and 40 balls. Not what I'd call good control.

2nd edit: 3 up 3 down. I'll take it.

I'm definitely not going to complain about Lester's performance today. He did all you could really ask. If he gets rid of those 3 walks, he looks like an ace out there today. I'd take this any day.

(Assuming we're facing offenses similar to that of the AAA's)
