2/19 ST Day 4

Crowd size was easily double the size of the first three days. It's going to be a real zoo Friday when entire squad is on the field.
Today's workout lasted 2 hours, and was super B-O-R-I-N-G. More stretching, running, and pitcher's fielding practice. Same shi*, different day. No anecdotes to report, the pitchers already look bored.
Ellsbury and Papi were in the house, but didn't appear during the public portion of the day. I understand from folks who have seen him that Papi appears to be in fantastic shape.
Tomorrow should be a better day.

I saw a couple pictures of him outside the batting cages, he was looking trim. Granted, it was a loose sleeveless shirt, and you can only tell so much from pictures.
(EDIT: found them)

Good job with the updates, I look forward to your posts every day.

Source: http://www.boston.co..._cora_no_s.htmlThe only two players who have not yet shown up at camp are Manny Ramirez and Alex Cora. (Bobby Kielty is also not here, but is excused because his wife is about to have a baby.) Terry Francona did say he spoke to Cora yesterday, and the assumption was that Cora would be in camp on time.
So much for Manny showing up on time.

Manny Ramirez has been spotted at Sox camp in Fort Myers, keeping his word that he would show up to spring training on time.
He arrived in a white Cadillac Escalade, stayed for about a half hour, and then left.
