It's insane to go for it on 4th and 12 from the 40 with this much time left.
So the net result of 15 yards of field position or less (if they come up a few yards short) is isane?
That balanced against the fact that you are already down and your D hasn't stopped anything all day?
It is not that insane a risk.

EDIT: I would actually be rooting for Dallas if we (Packers) had home field. It's amazing how since the 90's we NEVER get these bastards at Lambeau. I know in the playoffs it's our own fault b/c of seeding, but often time the difference is a regular season matchup...which somehow, is ALWAYS in fucking Dallas.

Jesus. How are the Giants still in this.
These have been four of the weirdest games this weekend.

Chances are if they fail on 4th and 12, it's an incomplete pass. Throwing to a route short of the marker that's not a cinch to get the first down is foolish.
Plus, Feagles is very good at directional punting. It didn't work out that time.
And, as it turns out, the Giants get the ball back inside the Dallas 40. I think Coughlin made the right call here.

It's Jacobs who should be the change-of-pace RB.

Typical Cowboys. Stupid penalties. Bad special teams. Drops. Shitty coverage. Missed receivers. If the Giants win this game, the Cowboys need to get the game ball.
That's Wade Phillips' team for ya.

Yeah, but only because big brother lost.If the Giants win this it should buy Eli some grace period from the critics, no?

That was easily the best defensive series of the game for the Giants. That was pretty good coverage.
March down the field and score. Do not not score. You must score. They got pinned back by a great punt, but they now officially have a shot at this.
