Props to Curt for the shout out to Jamie, Fav and SoSH. Oh, and for pitching pretty well during the playoffs.

Shout out to Jamie, Fav and their family for their service to and sacrifices for all us.

Shout out to Brohammer. It was a joy making the 1.5 mile late night trip to your house the SECOND time in 4 years to share a celebratory Schaefer. I drove home a lot less drunk this time, but it was great nevertheless.

Shout out to the Sox. My daughter is 6, she's batting .333. My son is two--conceived during the '04 run, gets to see one in '07. Happy they're never truly know the angst and frustration his dad, his grandad, and his great grandads experienced.

It definitely was the wrong week to quit sniffing glue...

Wow, I am actually going to try to go to bed, so I don't act like a rambling Idiot at an 8 AM meeting tommorow. Oh hell, I'm going to be a rambling idiot anyway.....!

PHENOMENAL end to a GREAT 2007 baseball season. Thanks Sox, you made my year, again. It never ceases to amaze me how much this team means to me. So much joy right now for this team. We are all up for an eternal summer - 2004 Winter was the warmest I ever had, filled with World Series DVD's and memorabilia....can't wait to do the same this offseason!

Can't wait for Tuesday to watch the Rolling Rally! For those of you still living in New England who are lucky enough to go to this event, live it up for all the rest of RSN who can't be there in person, but will be there in spirit.

Denver, a class act, unquestionably washing down their towels with Coors toingt:

"The Rockies carried this dream for five weeks, nearly made it real. But at nearly 10 p.m. MST, the clock struck midnight and the valet brought back a pumpkin."

Denver Post

Sour grapes in the NYT: (Sorry, that excorcism was 3 years ago, you still haven't won anything).

They have gone from exorcism to coronation in record time.

NYT not too enthused

Paps says: "The party comes to Boston tomorrow night ... Y'all be ready now"

WE WILL!

(I am out of champagne, good night all!)

I'd like to congratulate the Sox, SoSH, and my liver for surviving another one of these rides and coming out victorious.

Really, though - this is wonderful. If 2004 got the monkey off our backs, then 2007 taught us how to win.

What an excellent cast of characters - thank you all, from Beckett & Schill and Manny & Papi to some dude who pitched .2 innings in June who I won't even remember was on the team until they scroll the full 2007 roster at the end of "Faith Rewarded II: Electric Boogaloo".

And hey - Luis Alicea has a ring. That's pretty sweet.

Another winter of grinning like an idiot awaits...

Congratulations again.

Go Sox!

Hopefully, after A-rod's opt out is official, Selig will release the Mitchell report and A-rod will be listed as a confirmed steroid user.

Amen to this. I am 5,078 miles from Fenway, and everyone thats out there at the rolling rally, enjoy it that much more for me! I can't wait for the packages of shirts, hats, newspaper clippings and everything from my relatives in New England. No school tomorrow is a blessing, otherwise I would be heading to school without doing a lick of the large amount of work I need to do this weekend. What a season!

Congrats Sox, SoSH and Sox fans everywhere.

From someone who was at Coors until the very end last night, my second favorite post-game chant was "Re-Sign Lowell" which was heard early and often after the game ended. My favorite wasn't chanted as often but it was definitely louder -- "Don't Sign A-Rod."

With the exception of one extreme idiot whose presence forced me to remind myself that I wasn't in the Bronx, Rockies fans were a very classy bunch last night.

Maybe not Gagne

I was just about to point that out.

I am so psyched right now, Games 2, 3, and 4 were enjoyable games to watch, a lot thrilling but the Sox were ahead for 16 of the last 18 innings and behind in only 3.5 innings of the whole series. Very enjoyable viewing experience. I am almost glad they weren't blowouts.

That's a big change for me, I've become such a confident fan in the Sox that I don't necessarily require a blowout to avoid a coronary while watching. I believe the team can pull through in a close game. In 2004, in Game 7 versus the Yanks, I couldn't have handled a close game, it would have broken me after dealing with Games 4, 5, and 6. Very big change. I love how that has happened, the feeling of doom was not as pervasive this year.

Just awesome, two WS' in 4 years. AWESOME.

Just absolutely frickin' awesome. It is still sinking in.
