A hot chick at work was flirting with me telling me I look like Josh Beckett. That's worth something I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery-wise, right?
Damn straight man, and put up a Beckett-like dominating performance.

Red Sox 2007 hitting splits:
Against Power pitchers: .246/.351/.398
Against Neutral pitchers: .280/.352/.444
Against Finesse pitchers: .304/.377/.478
Aaron Cook is a finesse pitcher. This could be a fun night.
IIRC, we've been averaging .352 against Rockies pitchers...We may have a drop in offense!
What's up with Fred Willard? I'm confused.

Let's review: A hot chick was flirting with you and you're free to watch the game tonight.
Sad, very sad.
Fred Willard--now that's my idea of a lineup guy.

Best lineup announcer by far.

I wish Fred Willard was also calling this game instead of McCarver. He could just play his announcer character from "Best in Show" and it would be a huge improvement.
"David Ortiz went after that pitch like it was made out of ham!"
If only.

And Andrew- did you flirt back? Any chance for in-pants?
Sadly, I'm taken. Though I do prefer mine, so it's all good.
Were you dropping F bombs all over the place?
Yeah, man, that's how I roll. They don't fucking pay me enough to watch my language.

Willard: Look at the buttocks on that Ellsbury--those are "chisled", right? "Marbled?" What are the kids saying these days? Say that reminds me...

I think I will re wire the whole place before the first pitch.
May those towels be left all over the aisles and seats as the fans file out in the 7th inning.
It really is incredible that this could be the last game of the season.
I keep thinking about sitting in a hotel room last August watching Wells pitching a tight game in Fenway, we lose, Yanks sweep, season over.
This is much better.
Sweep please, for Francona's legacy.

Fred Williard was pretty fucking funny as far back as Spinal Tap. That was 1983. We're getting old.

Hello HughesMiester, and welcome!First post ever, on the night the Sox are going to with the World Series. Hello SOSH!
Lester is twirling a gem tonight.
This is interesting and unexpected, mostly because recent memory tells us that the Sox did their best against power pitchers Sabathia, Carmona and Jimenez, while finesse pitchers Westbrook and Byrd gave us fits (the first time around, hehehe).Red Sox 2007 hitting splits:
Against Power pitchers: .246/.351/.398
Against Neutral pitchers: .280/.352/.444
Against Finesse pitchers: .304/.377/.478
Aaron Cook is a finesse pitcher. This could be a fun night.
Awesome sight, ditto the sentiment.Sunrise over the Ortiz mountains, on this day of days.
I was thinking last night about how incredible it will be for Lester to be the one to end it. It's hard to not get extremely emotional when you really think about what that means.
Way to go Jacoby Ellsbury!
