And Paps should be able to go tomorrow.

Even if we have a ten run lead in the 9th I want him in there purely for celebratory purposes.

Even though Oki gave up that 3-run jack that sent us all into hysterics, the remainder of that inning felt like the ballgame. Heroics is the darkness.

Seriously.

That was the longest WS game. Seriously? 4:19 oh so close.

Given that he has no business (nor much experience) in RF, I'm willing to cut him a little slack. Hmm?

Of course, especially up 10-5. Doesn't change the fact it wasn't a great play.

Papelbon drops the F bomb on national TV. Haha!

How was that the longest WS game ever?

From 10:30 to 2:55... I felt it.

No. We came back in the 2004 ACLS from an 0-3 deficit, so I was wondering if anyone did in the WS.

WATER!!!

One of the amazing thing about 2004 was that nobody had ever come back from a 3-0 defecit in baseball in any series.

Yeah, it's a question of the number of at-bats, not how much tail he's getting.

What a game. Go up big, then let them back in it, then we make a statement (with the home grown rookies by the way), that is what the best teams do. Great outing from DiceK and I don't know how to spell Okajima battling back after letting up the HR was ballsy. Great win.

Lovin that Dirty Watah

Great game. Just want to say, about Paps, his setup, windup and delivery are perfect. No wasted side motion, nothing. Just smooth as silk and POW! One reason, I believe, that he gets that great stuff up there with such great command and control, or whatever it's called nowadays.

Unbelievable dirty water!

Never won six in a row ALL year, and here we are with 6 in a row in the postseason against the best teams in baseball. Unbelievable. The pro, Bill Mueller would be proud of how they put the Rockies away tonight.

Yup, McCarver's game prep is something to behold. What a surprise he blew the color commentary showing surprise Lopez stayed in to face a righty, when he must be a lefty specialist...

Could be like Ken Dryden with the Canadiens in the early 1970s, came on too late in the season to qualify as a full rookie year, won the Conn Smythe Trophy in the playoffs, and won the Calder Trophy the next season, his "rookie" year.

Sorry for comparing a young Boston star to a Montreal player, but there it is.

Yeah, I think that was a Saturday also. They might wait a bit so as to not royally f--k up a Boston work day.

Oh, and no one's won a World Series yet. That detail remains.
