Wow!!!! Congratulations to our Red Sox. I can't believe they pulled it off again. Teams are NOT supposed to come back from 3-1 down. It can happen once in a while, but it's now happened 3 times in my lifetime. That's not supposed to happen! How wonderful is that!! Good luck to the Sox who showed toughness this series, and had a few breaks along the way - thank you to the ump for blowing the call at 2B on Lofton, and thanks to Skinner for holding Lofton.

Awesome. Let's win 4 more games!!!

To me, the resilience of this Team is what stands out the most. Although they didn't rack up any long winning streaks throughout the entire season, each time it looked like the RS were going to give up their AL East lead to the MFY, they nutted up and somehow kept their lead.

And they did it yet again in this series, when to many people, they were out-and-out cooked.

Like OMR, they just keep rolling along.

So...in order to keep up my early morning...can't sleep...late post I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery. (which noone will ever even notice) I am here to say...My hang over from Saturdays 7.00 Fenway keg beer is finally officially gone...my throat however is still completely hoarse...I almost ponied up and went to the game tonight too...but I have a 4month old daughter at home and a wife that is only patient to a point...But the negotiations for a W.S. game or two have already begun. I led with "I might fly out to Colorado..." and I am hoping to settle up with..."one game you pick it honey". G38...you HAVE to come back next year...it is awesome to see you there with the guys enjoying another pennant. Part Coach, Part Mentor, Part Ass Kicking Starter...ALL LEGEND. (How is that for a ballwashing guys? Guess what...I don't give a fuck!) Also, as a side note...sorry Trot...but business was business. (Wedge shoulda gave ya the start) The Indians and Wedge are a class act though...and a credit to baseball. What a great series. Thanks Again to Dopes, Geeks and Mods...and to my fellow sandboxers "Raise on up and GET YOUR LURK ON BABY IT'S WORLD SERIES TIME!!!!!"

Red Sox Series win, coming back from 3-1, NEVER IN DOUBT. Atmosphere last night was incredible. Petey and Oki came up HUGE.

Drove 500 miles (one way) to see Sunday's game. And back home the same night.
It was the Fenway highlight of my 36 seasons as a Red Sox fan.
But I wish I had a tape of the game...can anyone help me out?

Wow. Just wow. 1,000 miles in one day. You are a true fan.

Me. I wish. I got a phone call about 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning while at my son's football game offering me tickets in the boxes by Pesky pole. This friend of mine has some good contacts and gets tickets periodically and takes me occasionally. To make a long story short, the thought of driving home to Connecticut (about 130 miles one way) late at night was enough for me to say no thanks. Needless to say my wife and son gave me holy hell for it.

Slam away.
