I love XM. I'm getting the WRKO pre-game and will get the WRKO game itself and I get to mute Joe and Tim. Life is good.

i have an mlb account, but its impossible to watch it on fox with rko. the audio is at least 20 seconds off

Did the hacks at FOX just completely take Papelbon's quote out of context?

Wasn't he talking about Beckett's ex-GF?

VP5 (the regular season Boston games channel), but the guy flipped to NBA at 7:30.

VP5, basically when he wants to, now that other channels are doing the postseason.

When the game is on NESN, VP5's usually there.

I blared my Red Sox CD all day today - Schilling will rule.

Here I am, on the road again. there I am, up on the stage.
Here I go, playing star again.
There I go, turn the page.
Out there in the spotlight your a million miles away,
Every ounce of energy, you try and give away,
As the sweat pours out your body like the music that you play.
Later in the evening as you lie awake in bed,
With the echo from the amplifiers ringing in your head,
You smoke the days last cigarette, remembering what she said.
Now here I am, on the road again. there I am, up on the stage.
Here I go, playing star again.
There I go, turn the page.
Here I am, on the road again. there I am, up on the stage.
Ah here I go, playing star again.
There I go, there I go.

Continuing the karma - it worked Thursday night.

I believe in the Boston Red Sox.

St. Barbara - patron saint of artillery - I invoke you to release the bats of our boys from Boston. I invoke you against sudden death in the ALCS.

To Victory !!

among the myriad reasons i want the sox to win (tonite and tomorrow) is so i can see paps do that goofy, glorious riverdance act again.

Just checking in from across the ocean. Won't be posting because I'm here with a real live Sox fan, but I needed to let everyone know that I am watching at 1 am, and that I will walk home triumphant once again.

Curt and Jacoby for the WIN.

HiDef TV ages Tim McCarver by about 10 years at least.

You should absolutely, positively, not wait to do that. The presence of Buck and McCarver require alcohol in your system. It will make things slightly less painful when your ears begin to bleed.

I've already knocked off a bottle of wine. My wife's weed-stash is gone so alcohol is my only ally.

They didn't show it. They were too busy lamenting about how this series should already be over.

A little bit of American history with regard to beating of Indians -

The Cherokee Trail of Tears

Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce "I will fight no more forever."

Andrew Jackson defeating the Seminoles in Florida

Schilling slaying the Cleveland Tribe in Game 6

England is calling on Curt to save our day after Rugby World Cup final loss. I have no doubt he will deliver.

Yeah. :)

At least they gave a credible defense of their title - going into the tournament, they looked like a complete mess. Beating Australia and France is a nice accomplishment.

The sports gods owe us one now.

Do you have a DVR? I pause the TV until the radio synchs up and then everything is perfect. I'm just a few seconds behind the rest of you, but the sacrifice is worth it -- no Buck and no McCarver.

Did FOX show Bill Mueller throwing out the 1st pitch? Or did I miss it?

I didn't see it either. I kept rewinding, and never saw anything.
