Wow -- that's some serious flood water. Are those bridges still there?

Vaclav Havel: great avatar, great humanist, and now, great Red Sox fan!

I am cracking open my last Narragansett.

This night has turned out exactly like my keys predicted.

One more time because it makes me laugh if no-one else, Phil Nevin in his prime:

I was going to make a joke about already being bare (going to bed), but I'm too tired/buzzed/amped to come up with anything right now. :(

Regardless, according to SOSH rules (for anyone who may not realize) the game 7 thread is yours Andrew.Posted Image

So...its officially my birthday...just got back from Fenway about an hour ago...and I had to get on here and say...thank-you Curt for pitching a great game. Didn't have great stuff but pitched your giant brass balls of like usual and fought for every out. You tippin your hat to us on the way in got me all choked up and stuff...please come back next year. And congrats to J.D. Drew and his family on what I am sure is a pretty great day for them. Good nite and see you all tommorow for game 7. It truly is on bitches...

I had to catch most of the game on radio, but...wow. Just wow. Incredible performance from Drew, Schill, and all the rest. Only one story of redemption left to be told: that of Daisuke Matsusaka, Game 7 starter.

Let's get it done.

Yup, all of the bridges survived, including the 14th-century Charles Bridge, which only survived because they stationed a crane on it to knock away pieces of debris.

What's more amazing is that the 13th-century bridge in the town of Pisek survived. Here are some pictures of that (a little more Czech dirty water for this thread):

BTW, if anyone is good enough at Photoshop to put a Red Sox cap on Havel, I'd appreciate an improved picture for my avatar!

THANKS! That's so much better.

So, as Havel would say....

"Red Sox, do toho! Red Sox, do toho!"
