Curt's gotta bounce the splitter on 0 - 2 to a tough hitter. Especially with the runner only on second.Tito had a chat with Manny about it, and Manny started playing deeper.
Like that to Pedroia.

I think he was repositioned some time in the summer (late July?) when he missed three warning-track fly balls in a row. He's been playing back for a few months (less injury time). Is it me, or is Manny playing a little deeper in left than he was during the regular season?
Just curious if anyone knows when this came about, and who was responsible. He was playing deep shortstop in June.

Too Drugs for JT, but a really nice intro!
"Does this mean I can sue Dan Fogelberg for turning me into a p***y in the mid-70s? 'Your Honor, between him and James Taylor, I didn't get a blow job until I was 27 years old! I was in Colorado, wearing hiking boots, eating granola....I want some fuckin money right now!'"

I can bet they would have had Stephen King reading the lineup, if he wasn't an awesome smartass yesterday.
They asked.
He was reading and had a "Do Not Disturb" sign next to his seat.

A singer. I have never been a big fan. Married to Carly Simon once. Sits on a stool and plays a guitar.
I think his epic batting order got Pedroia out of sorts. All the young guys saying, 'Who the hell is that?'

I still have several of his LPs.
But I bet you knew that.
