Amazing, being a wiseass here and found a curling fan. :fonz:

I see 8 O'clock starting time for tonight's game everywhere. Is first pitch really 8, or 8:07, or 8:30?

I never said I was a fan -- just that 5 solid hours of it wasn't as boring as I'd anticipated.

As for the first pitch, God only knows. Yesterday's game started around 7:05/7:10, EDT right?

I saw on another Sox message board that's reliable that it's 8:21.

Fox coverage starts at 8, so it gives Jeannie Zelasco and Kevin Kennedy time to say nothing.

Is there a poll on whether or not Jeannie's got another new hairdo?

If you haven't ventured over there today...Jose's Keys are truly a work of Goethean Art.

"They’ll burnish your ego and polish your soul
And take you to heaven and make you feel whole,
And up in God’s Kingdom perhaps you’ll pitch well,
But now facing the Red Sox, well, welcome to Hell.” - Jose Melendez SoSH's own Samuel Coleridge on Fausto.
Speaking of Keys...
And just in case...throw in some Art Tatum Birthday Moh Joh.

I don't know who this Gehrig38 fellow is, but he better cut out that silliness. Another 7 shutout innings and I might forgive him.

Go Sox. Go Schill.

Against Carmona the Sox may have to be scrappy, tenacious and play small ball in order to win.
When they get the lead they'll have to doggedly grab on and relentlessly hold it.
Who better to bring such I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery than the embodiment of said characteristics, the Sons of the Sons of Sam Horn:

I don't know how you back Easters can stand waiting until 8+ your time. 5+ is bad enough.

Yeah, try having your start times be 2 am, like it is for us in the CET time zone. Actually, though, going to sleep for a few hours at your normal bedtime does make the time fly before gametime. I'm a bit groggy and I wanted to kill the alarm clock when it rang at 1:59 am. But I'm here. Go Schilling! Make it worth the loss of sleep!

Damn - I turned on the TV at 8:14, saw that Fox was in a commercial break, and took that as a sign that the top of the first had been quick and stress free. Should have known that it was just an extension of all of the retarded pre-game hype.

More words to the Indians:

You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last.
But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast.
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun,
Crying like a fire in the sun.
Look out the saints are comin' through
And it's all over now, Baby Blue.

It's GAMETIME, Babes!

WIN! GO CURT!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Papelbon does the lineup for the Sox.

I'm hoping for Pedroia myself.

But most importantly, I'm hoping for the Indians being embarassed at their job.
