Starting 8:30 PM.
Colorado's only loss in the last 18 games was in this same matchup.
But in 6 starts this year against the Rockies, Webb was 1-3 with a 5.77 ERA--his highest ERA against any team in the league this year. Of those 6 games, 3 were played in Arizona--he went 0-2, with an ERA of 6.00.
Should be a great game.

Letterman calling him a "Fat Tub of Goo", and Forster showing up on the program eating a cheesesteak was tremendous TV back in the day.He looks like he ate Terry Forster.
In case you haven't noticed, 6 of tonight's D-Backs starters, including Webb, were developed in-house. The only outsiders are Young, Ojeda and Byrnes. In fact, Reynolds, Drew and Upton are rookies as is Young, who they acquired from the White Sox as a minor leaguer.jesus rockies have a hell of a farm system huh? atkins, tulowitski, hawpe...

i would rather pour gasoline in my own anus and light it than have to listen to dane cook, franktv and these idiot announcers. Thank god for Tim McCarver....
Consider this statement for a bit. Then a bit more. Then tell us you don't mean it.

i wasnt marginalizing the D-backs at all...i didnt say anything about them. Just saying the Rockies have done a good job with this crop

For the record:
T. Gwynn could probably still hit his weight if there was a designated runner.

Ted Williams at his peak couldn't hit Gwynn's weight.Empty seats at the Bob... Phoenix is an easy flight from San Diego... if the Red Sox were to play the D-Backs... I could probably talk the wife into attending a WS game!

T. Gwynn could probably still hit his weight if there was a designated runner.

No need to get defensive -- just adding to the discussion. It just seemed odd that you'd make a statement about one farm system when their opponent has had at least as much success. FWIW, Colorado also has 3 other farm-raised starters in addition to the ones you noted: Helton, Francis & Hollidayi wasnt marginalizing the D-backs at all...i didnt say anything about them. Just saying the Rockies have done a good job with this crop
