We are under way!

Too bad Pedroia isn't just a little faster.

DP, good hustle, but no cigar.

This guy is so hittable, it's not funny.

Not much of a chance of homers today.

Youks is sweating up a storm, and it's only the first inning. It must be roasting out there.

Should they try to hook Pedroia up with a track coach over the winter? He really should be faster than he is. Looks like he runs too upright, or something.

There is no such thing as a Fake Edit, I am just an idiot who can't figure out how to put a secondary thought into my posts without this crutch: Youk chasing head-high cheese? WTF?

Did I hear that right? Are the Angels playing Papi to go to the opposite field? An anti-shift?

OTOH, if that last pitch to Papi is a strike for Schilling, life is good. He could live there all day.

Weaver looks nasty so far with good life on his pitches and the Red Sox hitters seem to be going into one their patented funks they fall into from time to time where they swing at everything and look lethargic. It could be a long day.

Fortunately there's no Canadian soldiers in Anaheim.

We've always considered California to be friendly territory (also called Baja Canada).

I think the matchup of Schill and the Angels lineup is bound to lead to a lot of contact.

There is no such thing as a Fake Edit, I am just an idiot who can't figure out how to put a secondary thought into my posts without this crutch: holy crap, I thought that was going to go much farther.

Yup, and a day when we'll be relying on the good 2/3 of our outfield to get good jumps.

And we wince every time a righthander steps up to the plate with an eye to pull the ball.
