We have to get to that pitch-to-pitch approach and press this team more, we saw a little bit of it tonight, not quite enough.

Must...suppress...tasteless...Chico Escuela...jokes....For my own personal enjoyment, I hope they cut to Jose Mota approximately 800 times during this game. Two or three times per half inning, between pitches, even allowing him to straight up announce sections of it. Maybe call balls and strikes - he's got to be better at it than the assclown behind the dish last game.

Are the Santa Anas blowing today? There is a very strong wind here today, can't quite figure it out if it will be blowing in or out, but I would say it's definitely going to be a serious factor if it keeps up...40 mph gusts.

The Yankees need a win badly.
Well I got 4 P's for them: Poise, positive, patience, and perseverance.
In order for the Yankees to win on Sunday and have a shot at winning the series, they need to let the game to come them and not forcing it. Keep your head up, keep pushing, keep playing Yankees. Let your athletic ability take over and stay really loose as a club. Stay cool as a cucumber.
Roger Clemens has a lot of big game experience and he needs to use every bit of knowledge to deliver a quality Yankee outing on the mound.
For the Yankee offense, small bites, small bites. What I mean by that is gotta find more ways to score runs other than hitting the ball out of the ballpark. 3 of the 4 Yankee runs came via the longball in this series so far. How will the Yankees find ways to score other than the home run? Poke and peck singles to all fields, sac flies, etc. Go deep into the bag of tricks to score more runs Yankee offense. Also, make Jake Westbrook work. He's got a sinker that can induce a lot of groundballs, but if the Yankees can lay off that sinker (don't chase it) and make Westbrook work, they have a shot of taking Westbrook out of the game early.
As for the Yankee defense, stay alert, on your toes, and make ALL of the plays.

I'm wearing my faux-Clemens T-shirt today: "Boston" on the front, "Yankees Suck" and "21" on the back. Sox sweep, Clemens's career ends in truly ignominious fashion....today has the potential to be truly great!
