FrankTV was mildly humorous the first time I saw it. 6.9 million views later? Not so much.

I can't decide if I'm happy or sad that we don't get Frank TV in Canada

He might be the only player Red Sox and Yankee fans alike hate seeing in a pressure spot.

Agreed. To his credit, he really sacked up today.

So explain to me again why Manuel pulled Gordon for Helton when Atkins was the next hitter. And then he lets Romero the LOOGY pitch to Baker instead of using his closer when the season is on the line. What a moron.

This run brought to you by J.C. Romero and Chase "Alligator Arms" Utley. And frankTV, of course.

Romero picked the wrong time to regress to the mean. Or something. Call me crazy, but given the choice, I'd rather have Javier Lopez for a LOOGY.

Edit: OK, Romero's not a LOOGY technically. But he still sucks.

I still can't believe the 1999 Indians coaching staff. It included Grady Little, Charlie Manuel, and Mike Hargrove.

Talk about the triumvirate of suck.

Romero has been way better than Gordon this season and he is not a LOOGY. He's faced more RHB and has fared very well:

Much as it makes no sense, J.C. Romero had a 1.24 ERA with the Phillies, in 36.1 regular season innings. Not a LOOGY.

Man I agree with that. I was pulling for the Phillies this game, but if you are going to play that timidly you deserve to lose.

There was NO reason to pull Gordon. He was pitching well. At least let him pitch to Helton and Atkins.

And Romero's ERA and BAA are the result of pure luck. Nothing else.

Hargrove was actually pretty good with the M's.

Either that, or he had the sense to retire before they ran into real competition.

The same JC Romero who walked 25 guys and allowed 15 hits in less than 40 innings.

He really sucks. He just had a lucky couple months.
