And Bobby Zimmerman I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery (since apparently it was successful)

Johnny's in the basement
Mixing up the medicine
I'm on the pavement
Thinking about the government
The man in the trench coat
Badge out, laid off
Says he's got a bad cough
Wants to get it paid off
Look out kid
It's somethin' you did
God knows when
But you're doin' it again
You better duck down the alley way
Lookin' for a new friend
The man in the coon-skin cap
In the big pen
Wants eleven dollar bills
You only got ten

The Enemy aka Angel Eyes

Because in this world my friend there are two kinds of teams those with ropes around there necks and those that are winning.

Down 2-0 the Angels will have a rope around their necks.

Win

"Additionally, I'd like to add:

In my view, the Sox need to play their hearts out tonight and leave it all on the field. There are no second chances in baseball, so they have to make the most of their opportunities and capitalize on the angels' mistakes. They'll have to be savvy - you know there's intelligence and baseball knowledge and then there's savvy - and the Sox will have to be savvy to be the best of the best. They control their own destiny and they've got the credentials, but the big story tonight will be if they play the game the way it's meant to be played. If they can put it all together, dictate the tempo of the game and wear down the opposition, then the angels will only be half as good. It's like a fine bottle of wine that's aged long enough and it's time to pop the cork."

You forgot the part about 110%, so I'll add it. Each man has to give 110% if we're going to win the whole enchilada.

I might just be slow, but wasn't the original post supposed to be a joke?

Edit: Making clear "original post" meant the one with Cora at 2nd. The slow part comes in not knowing whether Kools' post was a joke or not.

How it could have been interpreted as anything other than a joke is beyond me. The lineup consisted of 8 fake players whose names were some variation of "win," and then Alex Cora's name for good measure. Somehow, people looked be an that and focused on the ONE NAME THAT WAS NOT FAKE.

I hope there is some value in no-sense-of-humor I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery.

OK, team: it's time to red-line it: give it all you've got, take it to the limit, press the pedal to the metal, and pull out all the stops. When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. We're not gonna take no for an answer, because success is a habit, and we're, like, totally habitual.

Other news: Indians vs MFY going into the 10th with a 1-1 tie after Joba allowed the tying run to score on a walk, sac bunt and TWO wild pitches. Now they got Fruitbat vs Perez. Not looking forward to facing Carmona. Nope.
