Not sure if we should go game-by-game or series-by-series with the NL threads, but I figured I'd throw this out there with the hope that people who can actually watch will keep us poor shmucks who are stuck at work entertained.

Hamels vs. Francis today in Game One, in what could be the only low-scoring game of the series. Should be fun.

Um, win? Or something?

Game 2: M. Redman vs. K. Kendrick

Game 3: J. Moyer vs. J. Fogg

Game 4: K. Lohse vs. U. Jiménez

The best these teams have to offer...Mark Redman! Wow. He wasn't even signed until August.

Phillies in 4. They win today and take 2 of 3 slugfests following.

Kinda sad that the Rox and Phils had to meet in the first series like that. One heroic last-minute championship story dies here.

Well at least you guys got the teams right. Rox are starting Franklin Morales in game 2, though.

And there's Orsillo. Weird. It's like a warm-up for the Sox game.

TBS looks terrible today. I fell like it is on 1x fast forward or something. Just doesn't look right. Anyone else have that problem?

I like TBS so far, no gimmicky shit, the announcers are pretty good and the pregame was okay as well.

Funny, I was just going to say that I was liking TBS's video quality. Are you watching in HD?

The broadcast clearly has very high production values, and is a refreshing change from Fox.

I'm liking TBS so far too. Is it really that they're good, or that they're not Fox?

Anyone knows who's announcing the Sox game?

Jimmy Rollins had 716 at-bats during the regular season - a major league record. That's just amazing. He played all 162 games.

Jeff Francis dealing - he strikes out the side in the first inning.

Wow, that's an impressive group to strike out too. This is probably gonna be the ugly game with under 10 runs unless they make it to a game 5.

Francis with 3 balls to start the game, then 9 consecutive strikes to K the side. Impressive.

Triple by Helton now. 3's are wild.

I'm not sure Todd Helton gets too many triples, but it opens the flood gates. I really hope this is a high scoring series.

Not today. His changeup is hanging and he can't command his fastball.

by the way, if anyone wasn't aware, you can listen for free on espn.com.

so far, this is not good, especially considering that this is the kid on whom the city is hanging its playoff hopes.

good thing the phils have an offense that never quits.

It might just be the tv I'm watching but I have no idea, by the diamond graphic TBS has, whether or not anyone is on base.

Shallow single to left notwithstanding, 5Ks through that lineup in three innings is damned impressive.
