It's like blaming Cla Merideth for Craig Hansen's sucking, when everyone knows the fault lies squarely with the scouts that allowed him to rise through the ranks when he wasn't ready.

Where else but on a Red Sox forum could such chaos result from a brain fart mistake. Is this a great country, or what?I'm laughing my ass off right now. They should go to dueling game thread I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery on the main board.
Awwww shit, they fixed it.

My only regret is that the mods got to it before a I could start a 10/4 Angels vs MFY game thread.

"Jeez"??
You didn't seem to know who was playing today.
That sir, is just scary. There is no "jeez" about it.
From the main in response to Kitchkinet's "I fixed the title, alright? Jeez."
And I second the Angels vs. Yankees GT.
Edit- And now Madison33 just destroys "Kitchenette". He'll never live this down.

Reading the "Red Sox v. Indians" game thread is like watching a film of those rocket tests from the 1960s, when it would blast off, rise a little off the ground, and suddenly come crashing back to Earth in a ball of fire. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.
That's how my wife describes our sex life, too.

Wow, some of the fellas over at the main board can be douchebags.
This time it's deserved. There have already been multiple threads started and killed over there and then on top of everything the Indians thing. How can you mix up who we are playing in the playoffs?

Some of it is deserved. Some of it is really over the top douchebaggery.
Anyway, if it hasn't been done yet, I'd just like to tell Kitch that we're rooting for him to get himself out of this bases loaded/no-out mess with a K and a DP. But if he can't do that, he's always be welcome back here.

And, please, stop acting like any of our "I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery" or who starts what thread actually has any impact on what happens in the baseball game.

I understand but people have to realize it’s a game thread on a message board. All the “crawl into a hole and die” is really overreacting and not necessary. If anything I blame whoever mods the board, they should have nipped this in the bud way before it got to this point.

That's just what SoSH is though. It has always been like this and some variation of the "crawl into a hole and die" has been used a ton on the main board.

Edit: Appropriate dialogue, I think:
Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch.
Ron Burgundy: It did, didn't it?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.

I remember the first time
That I ever seen her face
I was standing by the drug store
Trying to save the human race
Took a raincheck on a blind date
To get her prescription filled
We had a short talk and a long walk
Through the lazy cottonfield
It was hot
She was cool and sultry
We made love
I was broke and lonely
She's wonderful, so beautiful
So delectable, she's mine
She's desirable, so lovable
And it's criminal, almost illegal
Well we woke up in a barnyard
When I heard a farmer shout
Get away, boy, from my daughter
When a shotgun rang out
We took off
She was right behind me
Ran like the wind
What a crazy lady
She's fabulous, so sensuous
She's marvelous, she's mine
I'm delirious, it's serious
Kinda dangerous, almost illegal
Bring it down now
We had a one child by the Springtime
and another on the way
I got a new life and a good wife
Ain't that amazing grace
It was hot
She was cool and sultry
We made love
I was broke and lonely
She's wonderful, she's beautiful
She's desirable, she's mine
I'm delirious, she's serious
It's kinda dangerous, almost illegal
Wonderful, so beautiful
She's not a radical, but she's mine
She's fabulous, so sensuous
And it's marvelous, almost illegal
Beautiful and she's wonderful
So desirable, almost illegal
The best I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery.
