I'm not sure but Pap's reputation as a dead-eyed killer might be slightly compromised after last night.

Meanwhile, it's 2-0 Royals in the first.

Wow - i hadn't seen that. Paps has really good form...for a white guy he can really bust out the moves.

Belli's 3-0 pop up was a bit shite.

what did Jacoby do?

He was thrown ouot at first on a grounder. Youks was on first at the time, was caught in a rundown, and managed to return to first because the Twins misplayed the rundown. When Youks returned to first Elsbury ran to 2nd and just stood there until the ump made him go back to the dugout.

I dunno about this goofball lineup. I guess the important thing is to have home field in round 1 but look at Cleveland falling into an early hole. Could really lock up HF. Insted we got a lot of dead weight out there.

Random thought - try to imagine Mariano Rivera behaving like Paps did last night.

Here is a confession:

Finishing ahead of Cleveland would be great.

On the other hand, part of me is secretly rooting for Wake to bombed here so that Tito has less excuse to start him in the playoffs. I really, really don't want to see him facing the Angels.

Anybody else feel the same way?

You really think Tito would start Wake ahead of Dice K or Schill?

If he did that his ears would start flapping and he'd end up airborne.

lets not get cocky now. The Angels have a good squad. Its likely the series goes at least 4.

Checking in. UCF up 30-6 at the half. Late punt block for TD.

Win this freaking game!

Definitely not. But he might start fourth, if we have the series that requires four starters.

Hey, did anyone notice that there were no IPS (?) errors during last night's excitement? How is that possible?

Wakefield will contribute this post-season. If he ends up starting a game against Los Halos I expect the Red Sox will win that game.
