...
And Pedroia may have done it last year. Only players that are new to the Majors this year had to do it. He actually got playing time last year, and was with the big club around this time last year, so he probably did it last year.

Ahhhh, that makes sense.

Well, if they do, in his defense he was dressed as Laa-Laa and not this one:

Someone (their translator?) was dressed up in a blue or purple one - he didn't look to happy about it either

Drag's all very well and good, fellows. But in my opinion, the rookies would look a lot better in this costume (French Rugby I am unoriginal and unfunny. Please put me out of my misery, and probably NSFW). The soul patch doesn't hurt either.

Absofükkenlutely -- not too many balls are going to fall in tonight. I just hope CC/JD/JE remember that turf burns when you have to dive. They should all be wearing some extra Jacoby sleeves.

More than 30 minutes have gone by since this post and yet no mention of Cora being a genius? Things must be getting serious.

I don't care about Cora's baseball genious.

I see Ellsbury and Pedroia at the top of the line-up. I've seen good things with that pair up there, and we should see more good things as this game progresses.

It's been said before, and people will probably say it after myself, but WIN!!!!!!

Well Gawd. How often do you see such a large difference in scoring potential between the top and bottom of the order? Other downside: Guess Youk is still hurting. That sux.

If Drew can stay lukewarm, we might have a chance.

Remember after the last sweep when the MFY had an immediate letdown and the Sox dominated their opponents and gained back two of those games?

Yah, let's do that again.

WIN TONIGHT!

Don't worry, we still have Jacoby Ellsbury, and they still don't have Troy Glaus.

And Alex Cora is a genius after all.

Plus Hinske is a beast. He's hit in five of the last six games, and I dunno if Gregg Zaun wants to find himself in Hinske's way.

Cora and Cash....yeesh. Hopefully Cora will be smart enough to think of a way to get a couple of hits tonight. Our lineup is so much better when Manny is in there, hopefully he'll be back to 100% soon.

Hilarious video of the rooks. Looked like some of the rooks were a little butthurt that DiceK and Okaji got to dress in some relatively cool costumes compared to Clay in his mumu and the like. Nice to see that the lockeroom seemed to be somewhat loose after a tough series with the MFY.

As much as I'd like to see Buchholz pitch, I hope"Effective Wake" makes a long appearance tonight.

WIN.

There are going to be a lot of beer breaks during Sox' half innings tonight.

And another good thought for today:

No more McCarver or Morgan. Rejoice.

I agree. I actually muted them. I couldnt stand Joe Morgan and that Miller guy. They know absolutely nothing about the team, and keep saying Papi was having a bad year. Ugh. Morons.

The frustrating thing with Wake is, even when he's on you never know if it's gonna last or if he is going to come out the next inning and completly shit his pants.

edit... kinda like that.
