Patented Lowell double I presume? My MLB.tv feed left to take a dump during the Cora at bat :c070:

How many fucking warning track shots is this guy going to have.

He hasn't just been bad, he's been unlucky.

That's gone in a lot of parks.

Like, almost all of them.

Devastating warning track power from Nancy. Wonder what muscle he pulled on that swing.

Fuck you. All you can ask for is for him to hit it hard.

now we're justifying his warning track shots. He has the power of a Coco Crisp.

Good pitch by Cabrerra there to get Youks. Although at 27 tosses per inning, he won't be a factor very long.

Right. Pick a random player who hasn't hit a lot of homers this year. That ball is gone in any other park.

Fuck, Drew can't hit a ball any harder than that.

Between him and Coco, they've probably hit at least a dozen balls to that area this year that would have been HR's in most MLB parks. Fenway is the graveyard of lefthanded not-quite-power-hitters.

Fenway takes homeruns from left-handed hitters. That has always been the case. Drew will succeed here by hitting to all fields as he has in the past. If he doesn't do that, he's never going to hit for power in this park.

The good news is that we are up with 1. The good news is that someone at MASN woke up and took the informmercial off and put the game back on. While I was trying to get a proxy to work (tried 6 no luck), the Nats game was on and WilyMo did some nice catching out there in left.

Those of you in the DC area with MASN. Try the alternative channel again if you get it. They now have the game on. (Nats on main channel.)

I'd settle for a seeing eye groundball or a bloop between three fielders... especially with RISP.

No, I'd much rather have him hitting the ball hard. Because those will end up being doubles and home runs.

In fact, I think warning track fly ball was very good to see from him. His afternoon is not over at the plate, I promise you that.
