Look at Giambi sweat. He's friggin sitting on the bench and sweating like a pig.

Wow, what a head fake by Cora there.

This ump absolutely blows; he's missed at least 5 strikes this inning.

Is it just me, or is Wake not getting many swings and misses?

One one so far (Matsui's strike 3 in the first)...

Yeesh, sounds like Wake doesn't have much tonight. Hopefully we can catch Wang before he settles down.

Disappointing, just walked in.

Only bad thing that can happen is a total whipping, looks bad but my wife says we had Wang on the ropes.

Let's score a couple here.

What is Lugo doing? Jesus Christ

42 pitches for Wake through 2 innings. Of those 42 pitches only 1 swinging strike. Not so good.

Going into this series, I thought there was a decent chance of a sweep because of the matchups and the Yankees' desperation. Of course, this game is a long ways from over and Wang doesn't look good but I implore Schill and/or Freddy to bring their A game because losing 2 of 3 is fine, but getting swept with the Yanks having momentum is a bit scary. Let's just step back, take a deep breath, and take one of these games.

How bout that bullshit call on Youk? MLB wants to use last night's abberation against the Mets as some sort of rallying cry so their beloved MFY can get back in the race. That fucked up 1 run and Papi coming to the plate! Now Sutcliffe is BLOWING Wang like he his bitch. I'm disgusted!

Will somebody hit the ball out of the fucking park? This guy hasn't thrown any goddam strikes yet and his pitches are meat.

Go deep, Manny.

I don't feel like being optimistic, but the Sox have had enough success to warrant a little faith.

Wang, he can be had if he's walking Crisp.

This is the last time I'll mention it b/c I don't want to be like Michael Kay but that call on Youks is so infuriating, I am confident that this is a very different game if not for that call.

Now, Proctor and Mo threw a shitload of pitches last night. Just keep this game within reach. Get Wang out of there. COME ON.

When a pitcher walks Coco, that means he does not know where the next pitch is going.

I would fine anyone who doesn't take 2 strikes.

Why does that shithead JDamon only hit against the Sox?

Top of the order... if nothing else, they need to work the shit out of these counts this inning, try and get Wang out of there be the 6th. That Yankee bullpen is vulnerable...

Top of the order. Wang at 75. This is a huge, HUGE half inning. At the VERY LEAST, his pitch count has to get rung up high enough to keep him in the dugout for the 6th. If the top of the order has a hacktastic 9 pitch inning I am going to fucking chuck my remote through the TV.

EDIT: And Lugo promptly swings at the first pitch. CABRON. :rolling:

So, I was just able to sit down at the computer, and have seen that Mandurro, tho apparently a young person, is about to have a coronary. Calm down, young person!

Now, are all of you as disappointed with the line-up as I am? No Pedroia, no Hinske, whose record against Wang is impressive?

Now Lugo just had a disgusting at-bat. Wang was throwing strikes at the beginning of the game, but lately he has not.

Criminy.
