Anyone know how to say "The Toilet" in Japanese? We really need to christen a new Japanese moniker for that place for this occasion.
I don't know what the word is, but I strongly suggest you watch this commercial.

It will provide the lucky good vibes team of Kaibutsu with Boston in home of Yankees need.

http://www.boston.co...ll_no_rain.htmlJust went outside to do my NESN hit, and it's still not raining. There's just a soupy haze covering the field that won't make it fun, but should hold up enough to play.
This is, of course, all subject to change.

(Of course, I say that and he'll go 0-3 with a walk and 2Ks.)
No thoughts about tomorrow or Sunday, only today. Win.

EDIT: nm, i guess i heard it wrong, he denied reports that he told Sutcliffe that he is done for the year. Either way, what a joke.

That's bad news for HIM because hes most effective when he's pitching away with the fastball, and down-and-in with the slider. Leaving the ball inside is a recipie for disaster (yay!)
He's gonna give up some BOMBS tonight.

Olney made a comment on his blog along the lines of "if he comes back at all this year" as well.Wow. the MLB TV pregame show just said Pavano told Rick Sutcliffe that he is done for the year. What a joke.

Newsday said Pettitte would be pitching inside tonight, so as to "get back" at the Sox for hitting Arod and Jeter.

Or not:
The serendipity of their matchup could provide an interesting subplot. When Matsuzaka last faced the Yankees, last Sunday night at Fenway Park, he hit both Alex Rodriguez and Jeter with pitches when the Sox won, 7-6.
But Pettitte said yesterday that he does not feel any special need to send messages to the Boston hitters. “I don’t feel I have to establish anything,” Pettitte said. “No one said one word to me about it.”
When asked in general about retaliation protocol, Pettitte said: “If that’s the way things are going, I’m not so sure. I know I hit one of their guys.” Pettitte hit Boston’s Kevin Youkilis on Friday night at Fenway Park in his last start.
Pettitte said that if teams retaliate for hit batters, it is usually during the same game or in the game afterward. Matsuzaka hit the Yankees’ batters two days after Pettitte hit the Boston batter.

Lately Torre makes it apear that it's too painful to look at the field/watch the game.
kinda like every one else at the stadium wearing a NY hat.

We do. He's hitting 2nd.
Yeah, but then we'd have to find someone to hit 2nd. At least with Lugo hitting first he's not GIDPs and erasing Youks.
