Is there an echo in Fenway? Saturday's late innings adventure had me seeing more empty seats than the fifth inning of a Jason Johnson start.

Redsox.com Pitching Analysis:

BOS: LHP Kason Gabbard (1-3, 3.93 ERA)
The left-hander is coming off the best start of his young career, when he fired seven shutout innings en route to a 1-0 victory over the White Sox. Gabbard is 0-3 with a 6.35 ERA on the road. This will be Gabbard's first appearance against an American League East team.

BAL: RHP Daniel Cabrera (7-9, 4.84 ERA)
Since being recalled from Triple-A in early August, Cabrera has continued to show great potential, but he is still an inconsistent pitcher. He threw back-to-back scoreless outings toward the end of August, but has given up nine runs in 10 innings over his last two starts. Cabrera earned a loss at Boston on August 13, when the Red Sox scored seven runs in four innings off the starter.
