As he scored, Pedroia called Youk a slow sonovabitch

Past ball, Ellsbury scored... errant throw and Pedroia (who was rounding third at the time) turned on the jets and scored before they could recover.

Passed ball. Zaun muffs it near the on-deck circle. Ellsbury scores. Litsch doesn't catch it, bounces, can't locate it, Pedroia races around. No throw.

Awesomeness everywhere.

It's in his contract. He also gets the C tag from Tek and the MVP tag from Papi.

Wild pitch from Litsch bounces in front of Zaun, then away from him to his right. Ellsbury dashes for home while Zaun scrambles for the ball and makes a wild backhanded flip to Litsch covering the plate. Ellsbury submarines Litsch on his slide to home, the ball goes behind Litsch to the third base side of home, and Pedroia makes it home before the 3B (?) makes another wild toss to whoever is covering the plate by now.

I think the key was Pedroia never slowed down around third base but was busting a gut the entire way.
