Sweep it and continue to stretch the lead against those pretenders from Chicago.

Just like last year's four-game sweep, complete with Ozzie quotes, tonight inspires us on to the division title. We own these chumps. Win tonight.

Pedey plays like an MVP, Wake dances, Sox win.
But will those pesky Rays ever lose another game?

The engine is starting to pick up steam - keep it rolling Wakes so it can speed out of the station into September, and away from the other WC teams to overtake (if they ever lose), TB. Kind of amazing run, given the freakish number of injuries/illnesses. There's something about a Papi/Pedey in the 3 and 4 spots - sort of like Mutt and Jeff, but if it works (especially if there aren't many options). Bring it bitches, kick ass and sweep this one.
GO SOX - WIN TODAY!

I laugh everytime I see the big little man in the clean up spot. Hopefully Ells/Lowrie/Papi dirty the bases for him.

The Comcast pregame show here in Chicago is hilarious today. The "analyst" just said that batting Pedroia 4th is a slap in the face to the White Sox.

Ill-educated barbarians, those Chicagoans. Not a slap in the face. A slap to right, a slap to left. A slap or two up the middle, on the Wall, over the Wall. Eight slaps in eight at-bats.
Slap them some more, is what I say.

Imagine how great the Sox defense would be if, in a sub situation, Ellsbury played left, Kotsay played right, and Coco played center.
I knew we couldn't get through a series without Thome hurting us. Yikes that was hammered.

Nice hit from Papi, he's not complaining about Pedroia hitting behind him. Best protection he's had all year.
