OK, we've had quite a bit of drama in the last two game threads. First, a near perfect game/no hitter capped by a stirring Sox comeback. Then, a 10 run lead blown in less than an hour capped by another stirring Sox comeback.

Tonight, there will be no drama. Lester will mow down that lineup like he's done all season. And Luis Mendoza? He'll meet the same fate as his fellow AAA stiff, Charlie Zink, except he'll get pinned with the loss.

Sox will win 1-0 on a Jason Varitek solo HR.

Except when Lugo comes back, expect Tito to slide Lowrie to 3B, reinstall Lugo at SS, and put Youkilis back at 1B.

I don't hate it either, but I am surprised that Lowrie is hitting ahead of Casey. I'm hoping it's a sign that Lugo's ass will be glued to the bench even when he comes back healthy.

Speaking of Lugo's ass, maybe Jacoby's tush still hurts.

Gotta keep this thing going. Decent lineup tonight given the circumstances. Last night's game kinda got those 2004/2007 memories flowing again. That was just what this team needed. No doubt Lester brings his A-game while rounding into playoff form.

Keep it short and sweet, and keep this train rolling ahead. Let's hope there's a few hits left in the walking wounded offense. Its Bay's time to shine, although very nice to see Papi back. Kick ass kid.
