Going to the game again tonight - might I add - I absolutely hate JD Drew at leadoff and Mike Lowell in the five hole right now.

Sure could understand this line of thinking given what NESN has for additional tidbits today...
- Mike Lowell is hitless in his last 15 at-bats and hitting just .171 (13-for-76) with no home runs and six RBIs since the All-Star break.
- Jason Bay is hitting .400 (12-for-30) with six RBIs and 10 runs since joining the Red Sox.
If that is not a case for making an adjustment I don't know what is. Lowell needs a rest.

That's pretty inexcusable.
Lowell should probably be getting a night off, never mind hitting in front of a superior hitter.

I have a friendly wager with a friend on who draws their next walk: Lowell or Ellsbury.
Currently, Lowell hasn't walked in his last 44 PAs while Ellsbury stands at an even more impressive 62.

Don't read too much into Tito hitting Tek 9th. It just breaks up the consecutive lefties of Ellsbury and Drew.

Statistical analysis has proven that, over time, a brick wall will indeed crack and fall when hit by a human skull the proper number of times. Tito is intrigued by this experiment.
I hope we got last night out of our system. the team was dead, the game thread was dead, we all wish Ken Harrleson was dead. Win tonight. Right the ship Dice-K. MAKE US ICHIBAN
