Best play I see is UNDER 6 on the Packers, forget the 6.5 with heavy juice to the under, under 6 gets you plsu odds. This team will not crack 4 wins again this season.

Can someone explain what the 20 represents?

Can someone explain what the 20 represents?
The letter following the number of wins represents "over" or "under" (the letter o or u) which signifies the side that is favored followed by the odds on wager. "20" in this case is an abbreviation for -120......30 would be -130, 40 is -140, etc.
For simplicity sake lets say you wish to wager the amount to win $100 on the Panthers to win more than 10 games. In this instance, you would need to risk $120 to win $100 because "over" 10 wins is favored against "under" 10 wins.
Look at the Arizona Cardinals who are 8u25. If you wish to win $100 on the under you would have to risk $125 to win that amount. On the flip side say you like the NY Giants to win greater than 9 games and their line is NYGiants 9u50. Since you are wagering on the underdog (under is the -150 favorite) you are likely getting +130 on your bet so you would only have to risk $77 to win your $100........if you choose to risk $100 you will win $130 if the NYGiants win more than 9 games.
Hope i didn't confuse you further.

Thanks HRB.
I learned betting lines from boxing a long time ago, but those letters and numbers were like sand script for me. Thanks again for clearing it up.

The Pats over at 10.5 scares me for two reasons:
1) I think that they will drop an early season game because of all the Branch baloney and some of the dings and scrapes they have, and
2) I don't think that they will need to win their last two games. They will win the AFC East at 10-6.
They definitely have the talent that you would take the over, but I am gun shy.

I can't believe nobody is taking the under on PIT. Waffleburp has his appendix removed and that schedule is going to be tough.

3-3 for me. Bengals had a shot at 9 if they didn't blow that damn extra point. Can't believe I missed on the Pack and the Bills.
