“Football has become soft like our country has become soft,” Trump said at a campaign rally today, to cheers from the audience.
Trump said he’s frustrated to see the way the NFL has changed the rules to take many hits to the head out of the game, at the expense of what Trump views as the old-school style of play that made the game great decades ago.
“Who wants to watch these crummy games?” Trump said, adding that the NFL has outlawed “what used to be considered a great tackle, head-on and violent.”

Only twice since 1990 has either the 1/2 seed not made the Conference Championship:
2006, with Pats at Colts (4 vs. 3)
2008, with Eagles at Cardinals (6 vs. 4)

Edit: Closest I can think of, albeit in another sport: In the NHL's 2009-2010 season, the 7th-seeded Flyers hosted the 8th-seeded Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Why? Deceptive with the spin handoff, probably good for a yard a good majority of the time.

If all you want is a half yard, have the QB get it. Too much time for the D to seal things up IMHO.
