For those of you who follow a specific college football team (or just college football in general), what message boards are you a member of?

I am an Indiana grad, thus I am not a member of a college football board (if one even exists).

By far the best board for Texas football is Shaggy Bevo. It's now called Shaggy Texas due to some BS copyright dispute with the Texas Athletics Department. It has its share of nonsense, but there are some very solid football posters, and the "inside" information is passable. Very high-speed board with a high tolerance for dumbassery. But miles better than its competitors.

I'm a UVA grad, and I usually go to TheSabre.  It's a pretty good source of information and discussion, although it's been pretty toxic recently, which isn't surprising given the state of the program.

What's funny about it is IMO the basketball and baseball threads are far better than the football threads. There are serious baseball and basketball junkies who know a ton that post there.

Agree to all of this. Best Texas message board by far, though it's littered with the types of posters you probably imagine frequent Texas message boards...

I go on EagleOutsider for BC.  Football talk is decent enough though membership numbers seem to be dwindling (or it's a slow season) and it's pretty much a wild west of a message board, at least in comparison to here.  Definitely need to remember that when you go there.

EO creeps me out and always has. The online subset of BC fans has always seemed to be a collection of nutjobs from the '70s. The board is poisoned with so many juvenile in-jokes, incomprehensible rants, and obnoxiously large images in both signatures and posts, it's hard to find anyone on there who is sane and capable of talking calmly and rationally about anything, much less BC football.

Thankfully EO has done a decent job of keeping these crazies lumped together over the years -- BCI and ATLEagle comment sections are at least tolerable. Overall, though, the online fan presence BC has is not a great reflection of the school and is oftentimes embarrassing to consume. I didn't go there, though, so I'm curious what alums think.

EO and EA aren't great shakes but they're something. I prefer EO over EA but they both suck in different ways and it's easy enough to avoid a lot of the weird stuff that permeates EO. I also have an inherent distrust of comment sections. Least of two evils, I suppose.
