Oh, I think you're underestimating the Saddledome crowd. It'll be as off-the-hook as Winnipeg. I'll probably be at either game 3 or game 4...unless my business partner and wife screw it up for me.

Nashville and Chicago should be a great series.  Others I am a bit "meh" on.  Those who have watched the western conference a bit more than me: any lower seeds/sleepers who can go on a good run?

Winnipeg playoff tickets went on sale this morning and were sold out in 5 minutes. Need a bigger rink. Looking forward to seeing the white-out in Winnipeg once again.

I think Chipman has made it fairly clear they're okay at 15,004. Any building to add seats would both be cost-prohibitive (they can only build up) and could screw up their supply/demand balance, since Winnipeg's the smallest metro area in the NHL, and it might not be very close. If you're thinking a whole new building, this one is 11 years old and in prime location by Portage and Main.

As far as their first home game, I'm stopping everything around 8:55 Monday night. That crowd will be something else.

I don't know about "great series" but all of them have great storylines, with teams that haven't been to the playoffs or had recent success and other stuff like that.

I'll be honest, the only team in the west that I hate is Vancouver.  I would be okay with anyone else winning the conference, though I will be pulling for Calgary, Winnipeg and Minnesota.

I do agree that the Chicago/Nashville series appears to be the best matchup, though.

Holy shit!   I just tuned into this Chicago/Nashville game because kids and soccer kept me out..... I picked a good time to check in I guess.

Damn, nice save by Darling.  No idea if that would be a good goal or not because who the hell does, but nice work.

Shit, I think I played against Darling at some level.  Well, hope the scouts show up to the NESHL this year.

Bad goal for Jake Allen to give up. Over-committed past the post on the near side and couldn't push off to defend the wrap-around. 1-0 Wild.

Ducks have run the game against the Jets.  Hoping for some luck.

Edit: Few things I love more (as a D) than the turn up ice where you use the net as a pick.  Prime reason you don't know D until at least your early 20s.  So much nuance.

So why does Winnipeg have a PP once they determined the goal scored was before the infraction?

Stupid but christ the Wheeler name gives me sweats.  Thank you Peverley.

Preds lead 3-2 despite a hilarious missed too many men call that led to a goal for Chicago and missing Shea Weber who is out for the game with an apparent ankle injury.

Winnipeg's halfway to cooked. Two more third period goals, the last one with 30 seconds left, and they're about to go down 2-0. On the plus side, the White Out Monday night.

Vancouver becoming very Vancouver-y.

Nasty shoulder to head from Hamhuis on Bennett, who appears no worse for wear.
