Red Wings games. One more year to watch it! Fun arena actually, more so for the cheap beer.Shitty stadiums. Rams were smart got outta dodge.
It sure is. These games have been great and it's only the end of the first round.Playoff hockey is great.
Wasn't the old Montreal Forum like that as well??I can't remember a game where the camera was so obstructed by the back of fans' heads and arms
I've actually sat in the area of this camera position. The camera is placed at the top row of a club-level section and isn't up on any kind of riser or platform (probably so it doesn't block the suites right behind it). They might kill the two seats directly in front of the camera, but that's it. They're $150-250 seats in an all-inclusive area.I can't remember a game where the camera was so obstructed by the back of fans' heads and arms
This dude agrees.Playoff hockey is great.
In the next round, they should mic the guys in those seats up and allow viewers to choose them over the network announcers via the SAP function - go all Mystery Science Theater 3000 on the playoffs!I've actually sat in the area of this camera position. What should happen is the network buys seats around the camera position and the venue relocates them to comparable seating at the network's cost. I've done this at the venues I work at for other sporting events when cameras are added.
That's amazing.This dude agrees.
Thanks for the link. That is BRILLIANT.This dude agrees.
The first round has been immensely enjoyable. In a weird way, I feel like the Bs' absence has allowed me to more fully enjoy this whole thing.
That's awesome.Meanwhile, Luongo continues to amuse on twitter. Had a fun exchange with the guy that just discovered hockey.
