Something feels odd about having Foley/Olczyk calling the game. Foley is one of the best in the business but is literally a Chicago institution. Olcyzk just sucks, as we all know.

Quick pulled for an extra skater with 3 and a half minutes and the Kings needing two goals to tie.
Three goals by the Blues after Chicago scored the first. This is going to be one hell of a game. St. Louis doesn't want to go to a Game 7.

Olczyk is the fucking worst. Doesn't say a peep about the Wiese interference leading to a goal but bitches about embellishment on the obvious Blackhawks penalty and highlights a non-existent goalie interference on the shot that hurt Crawford.

Makes you appreciate what we have with Brickly, while simultaneously wondering what it'll take for NBCS to notice him at all. I don't think he's done a national gig in years.
As a huge hockey fan who never played the game, I learn more by listening to Brick than I do by listening to any other color guy in any sport.
The Pens/Rangers game this afternoon was being done by the Rangers radio guy (Kenny Albert) and their tv color man (Joe Micheletti). It's a crock they can't or don't want to find unbiased announcers to do national games.
I agree but that's different than your flagship national guy being in the bag. The Caps game yesterday was done by their team which I also bitched about but the Olczyck thing feels different to me.
