It's a 14 point game where the last 2 minutes only had 3 kneeldowns. What did you want from them?
NBC continues promoting this match up as the battle of the GOATs. Is Rodgers really in that discussion? Brees and Manning should be ahead of him at this point.
He made Davante Adams completely fucking invisible tonight, which probably is the reason Rodgers had no clue what to do when the pressure was on. Adams is a legit #1 wide receiver in the NFL, and it's like he wasn't on the field.
Tommy got a lot of grey in that stubble
uh what do you mean? hes always been a possession guy. care to fill me in what you are referring to?
2016: 13-3, 3-0 playoffs
2017: 11-5, 1-2 playoffs
Overall: 34-13 (72.3%)
This is the truth.
Fuck. And yes.
Don’t know about theirs but my record vs. the spread is legendary.
They got to make a tv show. Probably less hype if they have to say it’s the goat vs some guy who is almost as good as Steve Young.
The same treatment Nantz gave Peyton or Breen gave Kobe. It's a whole different level of adoration.
Meh. They haven't scored 38 two weeks in a row.
He runs real pokey. Earlier in his career, he seemed a bit faster once he caught the ball, and a bit more explosive. He made a lot of catches in Cleveland, but I wouldn't say he was a possession receiver. He averaged 17.3 yards per catch as a Brown, one of the highest in the league those seasons. I think of players like Edelman as possession receivers.
Maybe this was already posted but saw this stat on Twitter:
Record when having 40+ pass attempts
Brady with the S-bomb on NBC Sports Boston when describing blocking as White ran by him on the trick play.
It seems like any way you parse this team over the last 18 seasons, the winning pct ends up around .750, give or take.
They were missing Gronk, Michel and Mason on offense and looked completely out of sync for the entire third quarter, yet still were a turnover on downs after first and goal from the 1 short of putting up 38 yesterday.
We haven't seen this offense click yet, Brady hasn't had what I'd call a great game for his standards in 2018 (maybe not even a very good one), but you can feel it's gonna come together at some point. And if it does, watch out.
They also ran out the clock on the last drive when they didn't need to score. It was 1st and 10 from the GB 21 when Brady took three knees. So could have been 41+.
Except in SBs. Damn you, Nick Foles.
