What the hell was that all about?  Does nobody know the overtime rules?

Hamilton has the quietest 14 receptions that I can ever remember.

If Penn State doesn't score a td here on third down, they will lose after getting stuffed on fourth.

That last first-down reception was pure balls-out. You can't help but root for a kid like that.

You've never had the displeasure of listening to Gus Johnson before? He does earn points in my book for yelling at his producer into an open microphone to stop showing Acting Governor Swift during a Patriots game.

Does that penalty apply to Penn State's or Ohio State's next possession? I presume Ohio Sate, but Nessler seems to think Penn State.

No not Gus (I like Gus doing anything but soccer). I was talking about a studio guy. Looked it up, it's Petros Papadakis, he played FB at USC in the pre-Pete Carroll days. He's a loudmouth with a voice for print. Like Siragusa lite

Why can't the referee standing two feet away in the middle of the field raise his arms and call the touchdown there?   Instead, one of the linesman from 25 yards away, with players between him and the ball has to come running in and see where the players are after the play is over, and make the call when he clearly couldn't see the play as it was happening.

Penn State outplayed Ohio State, they just have significantly less talent. PSU needs 2 wins vs Temple, MD, Illinois and Indiana to get bowl eligible, will be tough.

The entire ref crew needs to get fired, from crew chief to replay crew.

That's a tough loss for PSU , but OSU comes out if this looking more unworthy of playoff conversation

I'm trying to figure out if the penalty should have carried over like that. If it were offsides or a yardage penalty, no. But leaping is considered a personal foul if the player landed on an opponent, and that would be carried over.

As far as playoff conversation, the winner of OSU/MSU is in if 12-1.

They called leaping, so it was a personal foul.

I'm not sold on it being leaping at all, it appeared he just fell forward on a defenders' back.

Utah USC has been crazy. USC went for it on 4th to try to kill the clock around the 30, didn't make it.

Utah drives all the way down, and now they are reviewing a 15 yard TD run by their stork of a QB.

edit- no TD, Utah fails on the next down, 10 seconds left, no TOs

They called the runner down at the half yard line, so Utah just had first and goal from the 1.  Looked to me like the runner just scored a td on the first down play, but they called him down, forcing Utah to use it's last timeout with 10 seconds left.  I'm hoping when we come back from the commercial, they will have reviewed this play, because I thought he was easily going to get in, and then a mass of humanity blocked the camera view.

If he didn't get in, really tough decision for Utah.  10 seconds left, no timeouts, so I don't think they can run it here.  They will probably have to roll Wilson out and have him throw it away if there is nothing there.  Then they can run it on the last play if they want.

Rolled Wilson out, and wide open in the end zone.  Touchdown Utah.  About to be up by 3 with less than 10 seconds left.

Wilson has awesome hair.

I'm going to go kick a puppy after that snap in ASU game.

Great win for LSU tonight. The tigers do two things better than pretty much everyone else, and that is churn out quality downhill runners and playmaking defensive backs. We got smoked by Auburn and beaten soundly by MSU, but things have at least begun to break right for us in the SEC the last few weeks. It will come down to LSU/Alabama and Auburn/Alabama, and hopefully with a MSU loss thrown in there, we might be able to get off the mat. Not a terrible loss for Ole Miss either, LSU is 5-1 over the last 6 homes games against top 10 teams.

Wow, can't believe Kelly had the strength to get that much on the ball.  Kind of lucky for ASU, but they'll take it.  17-10 ASU.
