In the 2008 Super Bowl vs the Giants, does Adam make that kick when they decided to go for it on fourth down and not kick early in the game?

If he makes it, it's a tie game at the end and they go to OT.

Do they win it in OT? Who knows, but they get there.

Last year vs the Broncos, the missed extra point cost them a shot at OT and a possible trip to the Super Bowl.

Again, as with the Giants Super Bowl, no guarantee they win in OT, but they would have got there.

So as I said, one, maybe two.
So if they made a different decision in 2007 AND Vinatieri made it (he was 0 for 3 on 40+ FG that year) AND everything else unfolded the same AND having Vinatieri in one of his worst seasons instead of a superior Gostkowski didn't cost them elsewhere AND they won in OT, another championship.

Last year, ditto - if Vinatieri (who missed 3 XPs during the year to Gostkowski's zero) hits the XP and everything else unfolds the same AND downgrading from first-team All-Pro Gostkowski doesn't cost them elsewhere AND they win in OT AND they win in the Super Bowl ...

This isn't "one, maybe two"; this is total nonsense.

Well, if you're going to play this game, what happens if Adam misses all the kicks Ghost made? Do they win two years ago against Seattle?

This Baltimore game has devolved into a low level high school tilt. Almost had the rare triple fumble after two Flacco picks.

It's amazing the NFL has any fan base left in New York City, after subjecting y'all to a steady diet of Jets and Giants games for so long.
I can't hear that noise today. I get to watch the Patriots on a TV screen in my own apartment! La la la.

Announcer of the Raiders - Jax game (26-9) just said there's plenty of time left for Jacksonville. Sure, like they're going to get twice as many points as they have now in one fifth of the time.

Still time for the Jags to sack Gus Bradley and see what they've got in Doug Marrone -- maybe not tomorrow, but certainly if they don't show something Thursday against the Titans.

If the Eagles d had played like this vs lions or redskins they would have won those.
The Eagles offense is bad though. Wentz is going to be great. Even in his bad games he has wow moments
Heck, all they needed to do was hold on to the ball at the end of the Lions game and that was a win
Edit: And Mathews fumbles again

Between PLACEHOLDER for a Browns touchdown earlier, and TITLE - OPTIONAL just now in the Bills/Dolphins game, must be a graphical department strike for CBS today.

LOL, kid on the colts makes a huge catch on 3rd and down to set up first and goal, "spikes" it afterwards (really just wrist-flicks it into the ground), it bounces straight to an official who catches it and then flags him for delay of game. love the NFL

I love the delay of game penalty when a player spikes it, it bounces right to the official, and there is absolutely no delay.

Jets might be the good bad team but you just don't know it yet because they haven't played enough other bad teams. Baltimore sucked something special today.

Dolphin Maxwell does a wristwatch pantomime to the Bills bench = taunting for 15 yards.
