The CB had no fucking clue where that ball was. Just a terrible effort all around by the Lions.
Ahh, Manning made a great throw. Tough to defend that ball. Sometimes you just have to tip the cap.

It's like the Yankees this year. There's no reason they should be winning as much as they do with the roster that they have.
Defense is legit and offense should be above average. The video game offense days are probably done but they are a quality team.

yeah, once peyton is able to distract kubiak with episodes of Beetle Bailey and a few MASH reruns and start running his own offense again, he's gonna get comfortable.

then again, he could also just lose feeling in his right side at any moment.

The offense has yet to run the ball effectively and a very middling overall offensive performance has a stat line inflated by the incomprehensible and horrific coverage skills of Darius Slay with no safety help given by genius Caldwell.

Denver's offense has been below average. So far they've been a one dimensional (living off the D) and a lucky (Andy Reid says hi) team.

Yeah I think the offense will play better than it has the last few weeks and half the offenses in the league are certified tire fires.

Lots of 5 yard passes

Edit: I hate collinsworth on #DFG but he has been on point this game. Called out refs for fumble call error, called out Detroit for not taking shots at the endzone.

The teams they have played will likely be 1-8 after tomorrow.

Amazing to think the Lions have not drafted a QB since Stafford in 2009. What more evidence do they require?

You forgot
false start
Yeah 66 seemed to have his own thing going on where he was determined to try to toe the line on false starting every play. He finally beat the snap count by a split second without getting called, so congrats to him!

Bottom of the power rankings would be harder to figure out right now than the top, not sure which disaster to rank last.

Von Miller is getting a pretty ridiculous jump off the line.

I'd bet some money that Caldwell hasn't changed snap counts since he had Peyton under his employ, thus Peyton was able to feed that info to the Broncos' defensive coordinators.

I think it's the coaching more than Stafford. Caldwell, Schwarz, Mariucci, Marinelli.
Get a well disciplined team and Stafford can get it done for you. I'd take him still over 1/3rd of the NFL. Every team in the AFC east other than the Pats would love to have him.

Eh. Jacksonville didn't have a punt under 65 net yards today. That's impressive.

I'm reading this as you saying every punt by the Jags today was over 65 net yards and I know that's not the case.

So, how should I be reading it?

The other teams are window dressing.
yes. But I like good NFL games… Other than the Pats and the OAK game, everything else was dumpster fire

Ugh. I meant punt return.
