Figured someone would have started this for Man U's thrashing of Swansea.

But now Liverpool-Palace in a battle of two teams that couldn't defend a set piece if their lives depended on it.

I am not sold on this 3-4-3, and even more surprised to see Joel Ward, who was horribly exposed last week, starting again.

Palace is going for its 4th straight win at Anfield, which I think would be a record. I'm not holding my breath though.

Weird game so far. Every Liverpool ball in the final third feels underhit. Firmino and Milner both look uncomfortable playing a different position. All that and they should have at least 1.

Palace is supported to be playing a possession game this year and have 1/3 of the ball.

Looks much more like a 5-3-2 than 3-4-3 though.

It's only 50 minutes but the Robertson signing is certainly looking good. And basically any signing that means less Moreno is a good signing.

Mane gets on the board.

Now comes the inevitable final 20 minutes where they surrender 5 or 6 great opportunities.

That was shockingly calm at the end.

Based on the last few seasons, I'll take a win against Palace no matter how it comes.

Also nice to see Benteke miss a sitter when he's wearing the other team's shirt, for once.

Not sure if it was a rainy night in Stoke today, but Arsenal failed that test.

Great atmosphere at Huddersfield. Team looks cohesive and well-drilled. Keeper just made excellent save. Would love to see them stay up.

I did not know that Huddersfield is the birthplace of rugby.
Kind of. Rugby was initially started in Rugby School in Rugby, England. However, later there was a split and it became two games Rugby Union and Rugby League. Rugby League has its origins in Huddersfield.

Looks like Chelsea are playing:

–---------------------------Courtois-----------------------
--------azpilicueta------rudiger---------christiansen------
Moses----------luiz------------kante------------------alonso
--------------------------bakayoko-------------------------
---------------willian--------------morata-----------------

Which is super defensive.

This feels a lot like the FA cup semi last year. Spurs controlling the run of play but behind due one great shot. Dembele has been immense.

I've watched the replays a few time now and I can't get over the second Walker yellow card. Worse contact than that happens on almost every single contested long ball. Its not like he raised his elbows up near the head either. He just put his body on the guy a little, which happens on just about every play like that.

There's something kind of funny about a draw when the ex-Man United player scores against City and the ex-Liverpool player scores against Everton.
