Yeah, it only gets interesting if FSU loses and Ohio St wins--Baylor may jump OSU with the QB situation there.
I think it will be controversial if Baylor, TCU, and OSU all win convincingly.  You have the Baylor-TCU head to head debacle plus OSU all having lay claim to the 4th spot.

What a run by Elliott for OSU through a massive hole straight up the middle.

After picking up 12 on 1st down from the 7, he romps 81 yards to the end zone

Controversial sure but none of them will jump FSU. It will just push an 8 team playoff for next year.

Strange year for Cam Erving..  Came into the season as an All American at LT,  and he was a complete turnstile there,  barely slowed pass rushers down at all.  But he has completely rebuilt himself as a Center

Of course it would be pretty darn hard to make a case for teams #7 and #8 this year.  Maybe the Mississippi's?  Mich St would be like giving someone a first round bye

Well yeah but that's where the committee still will have relevance in seeding the 1 and 2 teams.

Overturned. Probably the right call, but I hate the outcome. And Baylor scores on the next play.

Do you watch CFB? MSU has 2 losses against Oregon and Ohio State. I'd put money on them over most of the SEC west.

If they just used conference champs, a G5 team and then 2 at-large, that reduces the subjectivity a little. That solves TCU/Baylor and i guess brings in either Miss St or Mich St.

How could we tell,  they played 2 teams and were beaten easily by both.  Then they had one mediocre opponent (Nebraska), and nothing else

Oh, and Baylor's defense is godawful. Lots of blown coverages and missed tackles tonight despite their lead.

Jameis looks very healthy tonight,  not like the guy who could barely hobble against BC

Conference champion auto-bids are terrible idea. Georgia Tech would have rested their starters against Georgia.

Baylor goes 3 & out from deep in their own turf. KSU will have 2:00 to get points before the half from their own 39.

EDIT - Aaaaand Waters gets swamped by the entire front 7 on first down.

Man, even with the backup QB OSU is dominating Wisconsin. They may stand a chance to jump TCU. I think Baylor has already lost their chance with what KSU has done.

Don't worry. I'm sure they will add an autobid for ND if they meet certain criteria (top 8 in ap, etc)

Credit to Baylor for the big stop on KSU, and then getting downfield for a 46-yard FG. 24-14 at the half.

It's a good news bad news though; although I guess mostly good.

OSU is a very good team.

The remainder of the Big1G is a steaming pile of excrement.

Well if FSU loses they are obviously out. But I would pick OSU over FSU on a neutral field so I think they should be in.

Edit: and for the record I went to grad school at Michigan. I do not like OSU. But my eyes tell me FSU is not a top 4 team.

GT playing catch up is not a promising concept. They HAVE to score to open the 2nd half.

They won't drop FSU without a loss here, nor should they.

Funny thinking what a cluster it would have been sorting the five one-loss teams for one championship game berth under the old system.

Horrible call here against OSU for targeting. Smith dips his shoulder, and doesn't lead with his helmet.

But they kick the kid out. Jesus, that's awful.
