Clock should have stopped on the catch.  That cost them a couple seconds.  They should review that in the booth.

Oh man, I'm shocked they ran another play there.  Do they go one shot to the end zone?

I agree with the field goal.

The kick out of bounds is probably not as big of a deal as they are making it.  With a squib kick, it probably would have been fielded around 10-15 anyway, and Alabama probably would have taken the return out of the 30 or so.  It's probably only a 5 yard difference or so from where they got it on the 35.

Awesome hit there.

Awesome hit, indeed. I do believe that young man made the priority free agent list for many NFL GMs, even if he can't do anything but that.

True but the 5 or so seconds that would have taken were big

Yeah, the OB kick is an easy scapegoat. But if the squib is down the middle Bama has decent enough field position. And they got down to the 10 or so. So that's overblown IMO

Miles probably blew it by not calling the timeout before the snap on the spike, after the long incompletion that was ruled a catch

Great play call.   And now an UGH PF on Bama after they get to the 1.

Good call officials need to call that more

Huh, that definitely could have been DPI in the back corner of the end zone.

He definitely had a good chance of making it if he had run.  Would have had to beat one guy out in space (or wait for his blocker), but I think chances are he'd convert.
