Is there anyone that is more historically overrated than Archie Manning? He makes Namath look like Otto Graham.
He played for bad teams. Always liked him until the whole family started big footing the League.

As an NFL quarterback? Maybe Bradshaw. Great college player, though

I thought he was the 3rd best QB...in his draft class

EDIT: Probably in his family, too

Dak has had a bad half.
Honorable mention for Scott Linehan. I haven't been super impressed by the play calling so far. It's almost like he didn't realize Elliott would actually be able to play today.

3 passes on first and goal from the 2 was inexcusable.

What's brutal is Dallas wasting this first half. One fluke play puts them behind. This comes back to bite you often

His sons have 4 SBs and are 2&3 in consecutive games. If anything, he under rated.

He also turned to someone at Peyton's wedding (he wasn't in favor of it) and said "p***y is undefeated". So he's pretty funny too.

He also helped cover up his son's sexual assault. What a guy!

The announcers are making a big deal about the lack of Beckham, but if this half is indicative of the Giants offense in 2017 they have a lot more issues than just a lack of Beckham.

Today I've noticed an increase in the referees' allowance of physical contact downfield, as well as a lot of poor pass protection. I wonder if they are being more relaxed as an attempt at creating a greater balance between passing offense and passing defense. Will be interesting to see how that develops over the next few weeks.

Poor OL and no running game. Beckham is a supreme talent but you just double him all game and make the rest of these losers beat you. And they won't be able to.

Time is a factor now for the Giants. Drives with penalties and punts are not helping the cause.

Giants and Seahawks proving no matter how good your defense is, it's hard to win if you can't score, and it's hard to score if you can't block.
Yup. Both teams have similar issues although I guess the Broncos showed that there is still a path if your defense is elite.

Always hard to assign how much was the Dallas defense or the Giants offense but I was very pleased with that side of the ball tonight. If Smith and Lee can stay healthy that's a dynamite LB duo.

Watching some game recaps; is there a more troubling phrase in sports than "Left Tackle by committee" which was how the pbp guy described the Texans' O-line situation.

10 minutes into the Monday night game and no posts. The NFL is officially in trouble.

Anyway, Adrian Petersen looks pretty nifty out there thus far. And Bradford is checking down with tremendous success on third down.
