50 minutes to kickoff and no discussion about week 1 yet? I know Drew Dawg and the Pats took a big dump on Thursday, but there's some great games in this week's slate.

  • Thursday, SEP. 7
Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots 8:30pm
    Sunday, SEP. 10
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills 1:00pm
Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears 1:00pm
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns 1:00pm
Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions 1:00pm
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans 1:00pm
Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans 1:00pm
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins 1:00pm
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams 4:05pm
Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers 4:25pm
Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers 4:25pm
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys 8:30pm
    Monday, SEP. 11
New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings 7:10pm
Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos 10:20pm
    Byes: Miami, Tampa Bay
I took Steelers -10 and Texans -6. Don't hose me, Blake Bortles.

CBS: Jets @ Bills (yuck)
FOX: Eagles @ Washington

4:25pm:
FOX: Seahawks @ Packers (one of the best games on paper of the year - NFC Championship Game preview?)

8:30pm:
NBC: Giants @ Cowboys

Monday
7:10pm:
ESPN: Saints @ Vikings

10:20pm:
ESPN: Chargers @ Broncos

A lot of the pre game discussion takes place in the survivor pool thread.

I'm watching Jets/Bills. Redskins/Filthy is my Fox game.

Things to watch: Leo Williams, how much havoc can he cause. He is being mentored by Ronnie Lott (his girlfriend's dad).

The rookies and rest of the rebuilt secondary.

Can Kony Ealy rush the passer?

Can the LBs play at all. This could be a problem unit for the Jets.

On offense, the Jets can't block. Hopefully Josh can get the ball out. He could easily be injured this game.

Prediction: Good Guys 23, Toronto 13

lmfao

Charles Clay lets a TD go through his hands at the goal line, picked by NY., Jets player, on his way to a pick 6, trips over his own player, then seemingly fumbles it back to Buffalo trying to get up.

I have no idea what is happening.

Lamar Jackson might be the first prospect since Andrew Luck who's worth tanking for. Dude looks like Michael Vick with better field vision and pocket presence, minus the character problems.

In other words, Jets fans should be unhappy with what just transpired.

Jets would have had a 105 yard pick 6 if it wasn't for the Jets' accidentally knocking down his own man.

Edit: And it was the Buffalo OL shoving a Jet into the interceptor.

Just showed JJ Watt during introductions. That guy deserves every cheer he gets. He should never buy a beer in Houston again. Hell, he shouldn't buy a beer in the whole country ever again.

And he'll only get an honorable mention when SI picks Durant for Sportsman of the Year

Woodhead hamstring. Mariota runs it in from about 10 yards out. Tie game versus Oakland, assuming they make the XP. That's going to be a good game.

Maybe this is why the Raiders have constantly targeted Crabtree in the redzone over Cooper. Went to Cooper three straight times inside the five-yard line, he couldn't pull in any of them. You need to be able to compete for the ball, and win, when in the redzone.
