What the fuck I thought this game was Saturday.

Meanwhile, I'm cursing the daily Oklahoman for completely ignoring the Cowboys in their reporting.
Shit I should have been clear that this was only a prediction. Sorry bout that.

Thanks Death!

Villanova in field goal range with 15 seconds left in a tie game AT Syracuse.  Would be an absolutely horrible loss for Syracuse.  I believe they had a player suspended for throwing a punch too.

Penn State tight end Jesse James is an interesting player. 6-foot-7, 260, agile, good hands, catches the ball and blocks. He's not the athlete Gronk is but he's decent.

Penn State leads 20-10 early in second half after Hackenberg hits long TD pass. He has thrown for career-high 355 yards so far. No running game. Far from over.

If PSU loses this game, that headset issue could be a pretty big story. Pretty big disadvantage to lose headset comm when the other team has it.

Phones they said aren't working either. Is it for UFC too or just PSU?

Wow UCF with a great go-ahead drive. That QB that didn't start is good.
Based on what the announcers are saying, I think he's playing over his head

These announcers also said a Penn St field goal would put them up by 2 scores before realizing a touchdown with extra point is worth 7.

Said differently, announcers suck.

Wow, Franklin is a brutal in-game coach. Leaving two timeouts on the board here is inexcusable.

PSU snatches victory in the jaws of defeat.

The porous o-line and weak secondary is going to be a real problem throughout the season.

Hey, it was the first game against what everyone acknowledges is a very, very good defense.  They might be a problem now, but they'll improve.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is still the absolute shit. He's on GameDay down in Fort Worth and before the commercial break leading into his appearance he crushed two full beers together in his fists (opening them in the process), poured both into his mouth from on high with arms extended (with most of the contents soaking his shirt), and marched toward the stage after tossing the empties over his head into the crowd behind him.

And yes, I'm going to need an animated GIF of that sequence to complete my life.

EDIT - And now he's swigging brews with Lee Corso. Tremendous.

Patrick immediately corrected himself. You have some high standards. Patrick and Cunningham are one of the tolerable tandems around.

First possession, Michigan marched down for the 7, despite the offensive line still looking suspect in the running game. Gardner was 4-4 for 49 yards on the drive. He connected with Funchess for the score.

"Jumping the Shield" was just called. Frank Clark jumped over the shield in front of the punter and almost blocked the punt. Apparently being athletic is a penalty...

I get it. It's a safety issue.

Not a good look for UCLA to be struggling at UVA, but whatever.
Defense is playing fine post-Barr, they're 3000 miles from home.  It's a top-5 conference team they're playing, not Georgia State.

the offense will get their legs under them soon.

UVA won two games last year. All I'm saying is, if the Pac-12 wants to be this monster conference, you have to wax the cupcakes from other conferences.

UVA lacks a qb but has had some decent recruiting classes (two 5 stars last year, for instance). Defense isn't bad

It'd be nice to never have to hear "football IQ" again.
Especially from a Buckeye.

Hard to say which Devin has looked better. Gardner and Funchess have connected for three touchdowns.
